Occasionally a cartridge will skip right from the start, and if its a skipper, then its a goner...no turning it around. However, most of them are fine start to finish.

Pens do not get any better than this. I no longer purchase any other type of pen. I looked it up and these pens were put on the market in 1995 and ever since then I have been using this pen. These pens have not changed their design since they came out and thats the way I like it. Every time this pen is used it gives off a great dark line without any skipping whatsoever. Also, the barrels are very durable and lasts untill deliberately broken. I do not always use blue ink but when I do it is with the G-2. The blue also gives off a brilliant blue color that stands out compared to any other shade of blue pen. I use this pen in Fine and Extra Fine for everything that requires the use of a pen. I no longer own any other type of pen. If you searched my home and office you would not find anything but the Pilot G-2 in Black and Blue in Fine and Extra Fine. It doesnt smear and the refills are easy to find. The G-2 will not disappoint.

I have been using this pen since it came out. It is professional, durable, and down right amazing to write with. The best part is that it is a very professional pen but it does not cost $50.00 to buy if lost ot stolen. Everybody who comes across this pen to "borrow" it from me says that it is wonderful pen. I don't use any other pen. I also use it in red and extra fine point. They are good for every day use along with quick notes. They are a joy for any person who has to write throughout their entier day. It will not disappoint.

THIS IS THE BEST PEN I HAVE EVER USED. I USED TO USE BALLPOINT, BUT AFTER MY BEST BALLPOINT FROZE ONE WINTER ON THE WAY TO SCHOOL I HAVE NEVER GONE BACK. WHEN YOU USE GEL, YOU NEVER HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT THEM FREEZING. I HAVE HAD A PILOT G2 IN MY EVERY DAY. IT IS CURRENTELY WINTER (2 DEGREES) OUT AND IT HAS NOT FROZEN YET. THESE ARE THE ONLY PENS THAT I CAN COUNT ON THAT DO NOT LET ME DOWN. ALSO, DURING THE SUMMER THEY DO NOT LEAK OR EXPLODE WHICH IS ALSO A MAJOR BONUS. ANY OTHER PEN CANNOT COMPARE. BUY THE G2 AND YOUR WRITING NEEDS WILL BE COMPLETELY TAKEN CARE OF.
