HP did not think thru that it would take eight hours to synch the machine with one of their printers.....and those eight hours were with the HP team!

I used this product for scanning old transparency (over 30 years old). To use this scanner at the high reselution, it will take for ever to scan one slide of negative films. It is noisy and slow. If you want to scan documents, this is a very nice product, for films and slide, go and get the Epason V300 photo it is the best for the money.
