Jam City

About Me Frequent User
Used this to scan documents for a billing company. I've gone thru 2 in less than a year. Both broke down when material jammed inside, paper tore inside and it could not be cleaned. Retailer replaced the first one; second one prone to same problems. I will not replace with the same machine.

Horrible
By Boofenheim

Horrible product. The software is very slow, confusing to use and restrictive. I bought an HP 5550 7 years ago that was 10x better than this machine. One of the things that is annoying is that when scanning, the software window disappears for a while before reappearing with the image. You begin to wonder what's going on. It's also quite restrictive in terms of scanning parameters. I'm used to playing with dpi, scanning format, etc. Either these options are buried somewhere in a menu, or the software doesn't let you have control over such things. And the manual is very poor: doesn't tell you anything. I'm not going to try to figure this one out. It goes back to the store. Shame on you, HP!

Not Worth It
By Innova
from Dayton, OH
The scans were poor quality and it would not scan multiple pages as described. I returned it.

Not worth the money....
By ron
from media, pa
Thought it would be faster, easier to use than the typical all-in-one cheaper model. Much slower and resolution/quality is worse than it's less expensive models. I returned it and went with a officejet 6210.

Good for price
By Lauren

Easy to use, good quiality for price. Make sure if you are trying to get something just black and white you check the button on the front and also set to black and white on the hp setup program.
Multipage scan should be included

This product does not scan 8 pages per minute - it is a bit slow in scanning.
