Poor. Not suitable for Berber

About Me Midrange Shopper
Comments about Staples Quill Brand® Berber Carpet Chair Mat; 36x48, Standard Lip:
Extremely poor quality. Would not lie flat despite resting heavy weights on it for 4 days. Flexes too much under the chair wheels (I weigh only 145 lb.) Expensive given the quality.

Nice chair mat

The wheels make indents in the mat because of the carpet. I think it could be a little bit thicker. Overall, it's a good mat, though.

Berbermat - yea right.
By NeuroMedBiller
from Los Angeles, CA
This product is listed as a "Berbermat" it is not nearly thick enough for berber carpeting. Perhaps commercial grade flat carpet but nothing with any depth and definitely not for carpets that have padding underneath. I am an average to slim person and the wheels from my chair made indents in the mat within the first hour of use. Trying to roll your chair out of the indents is like trying to jump a curb with your car, you can do it but it it takes a bit of force. Standing on the mat for even a few seconds in bare feet, which actually feels kind of good, you can see and feel it indenting. All in all the mat will probably save some wear on your carpet, but the accompanying aggrevation is probably not worth it.

Not thick enough to use as advertised!
By Joe
from Burkesville, Ky.
Not thick enough to use on Berber carpet as advertised. Don't waste your money as I did. Wish I could have seen before ordering, I relied on 'truth in advertising' to much. I'm not at all happy with product. If I had not special ordered for pickup at store, I'd return and purchase heavier model carried in store.
Wouldn't buy again

We have a business out of our home and use computers a lot for personal use. I was unhappy with this mat because my chair would indent where I had sat for a while and make it hard to roll when wanted to move. I weigh 150 lbs. and don't think that should happen. Hasn't cracked yet and have been using a couple weeks - at other computer desk. I couldn't use it - I had to buy a better one for my everyday use.
Great chairmat

I like the chairmat, but I should have order one for a thicker carpet.
